Good Morning!Wall Street looks set to open higher on a busy day of economic data releases and financial results. The S&P 500 saw a slight gain of 0.1%, while Nasdaq-100 futures moved up 0.4%, thanks to off-hours moves from major tech stocks. Futures for the Dow industrials declined by less than 0.1%.On Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average saw an inctrease of 10 points or 0.03% to end the day at 33744, the S&P 500 fell 1 points or 0.02% to reach at 4016, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 21 points or 0.18% to settle at 11313.The dollar was trading near an eight-month low against its peers as the fourth-quarter earnings season continued to be grim ahead of the US Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, and Bank of England meetings next week. It is expected that all three banks will continue to raise rates.There are four U.S. updates due on Thursday. These include a first estimate of fourth quarter GDP, weekly initial jobless claims, durable goods orders for December, and the Chicago Fed national activity index. They will all be released at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. At 10:00 a.m., the new home sales data for December will be released.
