Good Morning!A strong month for equities ended with a decline in stock futures Tuesday.Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell by 95 points, or 0.3%, while S&P 500 futures declined by 0.3%. Nasdaq-100 futures declined by 0.5%.This follows Monday's declines. In the previous session, the Dow lost 0.8%, while the S&P and Nasdaq Composite declined 1.30% and 1.96%, respectively.Stocks have done well in January, on the whole. After Monday's close, the S&P 500 and Dow were up 4.64% and 1.72%, respectively, making this their third positive month in four. Also, the S&P 500 looks set to have its best January since 2019. As a result of this month's gains, the Nasdaq Composite is on pace for its best performance since July.A strong January could presage continued growth in the months to come. It is possible, however, that a busy earnings week could derail this recent rally. High inflation and sluggish consumer spending have investors watching closely to see how some of the biggest companies are doing. Among the companies reporting on Tuesday are McDonald's, Pfizer, and AMD.
Apple, Amazon, and Walmart are Investing in Solar Energy
